April 25, 2016, Woodbridge, VA – Sev1Tech, Inc., a leader in providing IT, engineering, and program management services to government and commercial clients, announced today that it has been selected by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a recipient of a 2016 Small Business Achievement Award. As noted in the award ceremony held on April 21st, 2016, Sev1Tech was chosen for this award for its exemplary work with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) supporting electronics and information technology systems acquisitions and sustainment.
The annual DHS Small Business Achievement awards–now in their 12th year–recognize small businesses for outstanding and noteworthy work in support of DHS missions. DHS nominated Sev1Tech as one of only 16 companies across the United States that have provided mission-critical support in order to foster a homeland that is safe, secure, and resilient against terrorism and threats. Sev1Tech was nominated for this award by the USCG for their essential program management, acquisition, IT, and business process reengineering support to over the past 6 years.
