Message from the CEO

We know we are born and then we return to the earth.  Regardless of what you believe happens afterward, there are only a limited number of days on this earth. When you wake up every day choose to make a difference, not just a difference to yourself, but to your community, the country, and the human experience.  Go big, lead, take risks, drive your mission, and most importantly take the time to appreciate the amazing people around you.  Always practice humility, simplicity, and truth.  Work harder at making yourself smarter, more productive, impactful, and a better steward of your domain than anyone else.  Always remember integrity is practiced every day and trust is only ever given in its simplest form once, honor it.  Maintain your curiosity, surround yourself with people who really challenge you, and never lose appreciation and awe for what people in unison can accomplish together.  

The above principles are the foundation of Sev1Tech, a different way to do business.  Everyone in our community is passionate about their discipline, driven by making a better tomorrow, and connected through a simple fabric of trust and genuine interest in each other.  We are direct and impactful with our communication.  Most importantly we always follow through. Our History

Founded in 2010, Sev1Tech provides IT, engineering, and program management consulting services. Sev1Tech focuses on providing program and IT support services to critical missions across Federal and Commercial Clients.

Sev1Tech emphasizes corporate responsibility and excellence in service, both of which are key components in our business and operating policies. We take great pride in conducting our business with integrity and honesty, and hold our employees to the same high standard of performance quality and commitment to the organization.  Our executives are committed to making sure our employees maintain up-to-date relevant certifications, use proven solution methods and processes, and stay informed of new developments in technology so that we remain relevant leaders in the marketplace. Community Service Team 

We have an internal Community Service Management Team dedicated to researching and coordinating community service projects around the area. Our company schedules at least one, if not more, service project per month. To encourage all of our employees to participate in community service events, we offer our employees 16hrs of paid time off to participate in community service activities. Get paid to do good!

As an employee of Sev1Tech, everyone has the opportunity to become a stakeholder and to play a part in growing our business. Our stakeholder employees are invested in growing the company and helping others to succeed, we are able to provide higher monetary bonus incentives and foster a more focused and driven culture.

WE GIVE OUR STAKEHOLDERS QUARTERLY BONUSES

In 2016, we gave out $943,000 in bonuses to our employee stakeholders!! That’s an average of $5,550 per employee! Through our GGOB program, we give our employee stakeholders increasing quarterly bonuses based on the company’s profits and individual salaries.

WE HAVE A VERY FLAT ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Sev1Tech started out with only 5 people in 2010 and has grown to more than 200 employees today. Throughout the entire history of the company, we’ve maintained a relatively flat organization structure, which means every person has direct access to our CEO and Executive team members.

WE PAY OUR EMPLOYEES TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

As part of our GGOB program, we require every employee stakeholder to fulfill 16 hours of paid community service time per year. The best part is that we have a team dedicated to coordinating and scheduling multiple community service projects each month.

WE SHARE FINANCIAL INFORMATION WITH OUR EMPLOYEES

Sev1Tech believes in and practices Open Book Management (OBM) with our employee stakeholders. With OBM, we share our company’s financial information and discuss how we are doing month to month. By providing transparency to our employees and sharing our company situation, employees are more apt to participate in helping the company succeed and grow.

WE TRAIN EMPLOYEES ON OUR GGOB PROGRAM AND CULTURE

We offer paid training for employees to take a 1-day introduction course to our GGOB program, taught by our very own CEO. After training, employees have financial literacy and a deeper understanding of our business practices.
